Spike Milligan

Spike Milligan was born April 16, 1918 and died February 27, 2002 Spike was born an 'Army Brat', the son of an Irish Captain in the British Raj in India. Learnt in a series of Roman Catholic schools in India and at Lewisham Polytechnic in England, he spent his formative years playing the fool and playing the trumpet in local jazz bands. He most famous for 'The Goon Show' with Peter Sellers, Harry Sercombe (and originally Michael Bentine), these radio shows are commonly regarded as re-writing the rules of comedy.

He is not class as an surrealist lots of he's work was not  unusual ore out standing ore mocking no sense it was well made thou. However comic's for children can be surreal in many aspects such as specking animals and amassing adventures
