My name is Marcin Ordon i come from Poland and live in England.I am interested in sports  being active I like basketball and rugby I also like video games that are related to art and design. I am always interested with their stories and how it was made and created it is impressive and very interesting to me.I also like in animations I made some my self and I know how much work is put in to an animation it is time consuming and usually need to be don by more than one person if it is a long and very detailed animation.i also like to draw and be creative i am often inspired by ancient culture and the shamanistic rituals and totems. I like to make up my own characters I also like medieval times the armours and swords and other weapons which looked very nice and are  nice pieces of work truly a master pieces of art.

During the course of Art And design I had obtain some new skills that are useful in art and design industry that can be used in a work place. I had created different pieces of work before making them I did research about the artists that had used similar styles and techniques that been used or invented by them. The work that I made include things such as a 2:00 min animation it is of amateur standard and could be improve in many ways. It is based on a topic of daydreams and it is talking animals fighting for dominance over the forest. I had used drawing tablet and photoshop to create the frames that where combined in aftereffects. The animation, making (also made a DVD menu and other student's moving images). It is nothing special but i am proud of it as it is my first animation I  also did some work with 3d stuff such as creating casts out of a bottle that later i had merged to make a sword

I also had created a brand logo design and a t shirt design that would be printed on a t shirt the design of the logo had to go thru some changes in order to be of the best quality T shirt painting, brand logo designing,Designing I had enjoyed making them  it was challenging.I liked that it allowed me to express myself and show what I like and helped me to develop designing abilities. Also had made a poster and a card to prevent Cyber Bulling it was fun to make and it is also good to know that it links with helping people that been affected by cyber bulling. Poster and card

Gnoumou masks/pau masks

The Gnoumou masks are spiritual artefact's used in many different rituals in the tribe of Bua(?) that is an African tribe that are using thous mask on many occasions to ask the good spirits to watch their the families and to Honor their ancestors the dances were impressive as were the mask that were made out of wood and represented something different the mask had decorations that where secret patents know by the elders of the tribe the markings represent the aspects of live and super natural spirit world that the tribe must follow. this relates to DADA  the early stages of surrealism(Hugo Ball had created DADA work creations) that were very primitive and wild things that cant be explain in full detail as it connected with the mystical spirits.

Spiritual masks and other costumes where also used in different cultures in Asia the mask where repressing mystical creches dragons and devils as well as good spirits.


Dongo masks are very impressive ass well they were extremal tall and very creative they where used in dogon masquerade a spiritual dance.  



what i am looking to do is to create a totem ore a mask that can relate to the spiritual world of the ancestors it is surreal because the faces on the totem are deformed and unproportional as well as they are simply made in wood and wood cant naturally have a face of a animal. I will use chisels to carve out the shape in a piece of wood.

research for personal project

 I did some research in to concept art for games as well as designing the characters also doing animation. this research heaped me to understand the making process of creating a character or equipment in and how it can be developed and transform in to an animation. i have very low movement animation more like slid so not many parts are animated more of a slide show with miner animation that still can show a story and it will be less live but be more detailed i am inspired to do so by the "lords of war" animated series from blizzard but i am shire it has been used before. i will have to create the characters first then or making it moving https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLDSrZN4U60

Tay dye and t shirt painting

We had did some tay dye on pices fabrik to practice and get better expirience with the dyes

I had printed and cuted out my simplified logo that i had design. At first i had cuted it out on a4 paper for practice which was helpful when i had to cut out the logo from A3 paper

I had to cute out the black bits so that when it is placed o the t shirt it is just like on the pikture i had placed the cuted out stencil of my ligo on the extraktion fan sevice and sprayed it with a stiki substance that oloued the paper to stik to the t shirt and then i had mixed some paint and put it on the sponge and then applied it to the t shirt over the stencil

working with surrealism

so i  he'd been working with some surrealism developing ideas and to words my final project  i had many ideas all inspirited by other surreal artists that been developing this type of art work to be beater and better and more admired and shown to the people.

I been experimenting with cut ups from magazine and news papers doing random stuff and working a bit automatic and using random pictures i found in the magazine i had given messy the scroll of pawer that is making hem strong and powerful it sure all as he is flouting and all kinds of mystical energy is all around hem

I decided to work with inverting stuff and mixing it together for example i decided to put Gods thrown in hell with blue fire and clouds under ground the throne is empty because the God had to go on holidays.

I kept going with  inverting stuff around and displaying things in a different light as i made the grass blue and the sky green the sun black and the trees red. in the model there a strange creature that that luis down to the sun. it is surreal  as it is un natural and it is something that is not real something that can be see in dreams

then i also had worked with some automatic painting i had made some lines with black paint that looked like ruts to me so i did some cut ups of news paper and made it it to leafs of the roots and painter it green and there is also a spark of life under the ground the routs that are growing leafs under ground

this was going to be my main pice work i was developing "Robot Vikings invading monster vikings i was developing that idea long as i liked the concept of it and how the surrealism fits in ti there were flaying ships and Cyclops at first but i had changed hem to a two headed man with feet for hands.once again the colours were inverted as it helps to show the surrealism and to bring the viewers attention. the feet hand ale providing the two heeded vikings as all people know that robots weakness are feet.it is relating to Salvador Dali  and how  he had did deformed bodes and some violent pictures that can be a bit funny

Influences,research,sources and ideas:
I am influence by the medieval times and the steal work created some ore the work are excellent pieces of art. they are very creative and advance technology as for medieval times. i am also imp rest by the statutes and the buildings of old ages like castles and churches wales and towers that is some good and advance architecture it can possibly be an illustration or an animation as well as a picture or a character design or a book cover. also it was land of adventures the where brave heroes as well as bandits.Not long ago i seen a movie called Legend of the guardians and i was impressed by it the animation was very well made and the idea of owls being warriors was very unusual and fresh but deftness interesting. many games are creating characters from that age and doing illustrations of them for kinematics and pushers

More research in to surrealism

I had chosen to related to Salvador Dali because I was interested to he's work specially Soft Construction with Boiled Beans that is displayed in Philadelphia Museum of Art: Handbook of the Collections and it was made in Spain, Europe in 1936 jurying the Civil War that this painting relates to. more info http://www.philamuseum.org/collections/permanent/51315.html

   I can extend my project on it by using some of the surreal fitters of this painting as for example the split hand in the bottom left comer of the painting where the hand splits in tow arms and placing the body parts in unnatural places and making it as surreal as possible so people can see the surrealism in it strait away un like the some other surreal work created by different artists such as the empire of light by Rene Magritte. the colours are also interesting it is peel white and  grey for the I will try to refer to that in my pace as well. 

 

Caravan is popular creation by Dali that I will probable include  similar type so thing  in my painting such as the buildings on fling ships or something like that I like to work spondaic and se what happens.

 I will be evaluating my drawing I will extend the two headed Viking I will make him have split hands and holding unnatural objects  possibly start drawing flying ships and robot Vikings  invading the two headed Vikings yeee
